Verdict

The course and distance winner Mister Mustard gets the call here ahead of Mr Boo, Chase The Sunset and Buckland Gold. The selection gained that c/d win when beating Mr Boo by two-and-a-half lengths on March 20, although the latter is now seven pounds better off at today's weights. The steadier of 12 stones and one pound will also not make life easy for the selection, but he has a likeable attitude and might be able to defy the weight. Of the others, Monster Mick showed some promise last time, but he is probably going to be seen to better effect over fences; Chase The Sunset has been placed in seven of his last nine races and is entitled to respect, although the stable's form is a concern, while Buckland Gold attracted some support last time before running with credit at Plumpton. He might make the frame but, for the winner, we will side with Mister Mustard.
