In depth

Verdict

Another tough handicap to call here for punters with some disappointing rivals in opposition. However the principals look to be Agincourt, Dragon King and Uncle Mick and the vote goes to Agincourt. The gelding from the John Upson yard won well when defeating Audburn Spirit on his debut this season before unseating his rider last time out. If his jumping holds up here he will be hard to beat off what looks a fair mark. Dragon King rates the main danger as his run last time is best forgotten. He was going well last time until slipping badly and he could still be ahead of the handicapper. Uncle Mick could also go well but he just gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip when third behind Our Jolly Swagman last time so for that reason he is opposed. River Bug could also go well he is a course and distance winner who has dropped to a fair mark but he has been disappointing of late. Of the remainder Radcliffe is another in form but he has been let down by his jumping of late so in a tricky race we will side with Agincourt.
