Verdict

Only one double-digit draw has won this in eleven years which makes things harder for Hatton Cross, who is running well but has a strike-rate of 1-23. Three Bells is out even wider and wouldn't want any more rain and though Knights Templar is well berthed he's another who prefers quick ground and is up 5lb for his victory at Leopardstown. Ask Dad has the inside draw but he didn't enjoy his trip to Ayr last time when finishing a long way last so it's BRIBE THE BOUNCER (NAP) who gets the nod. Denis Hogan's charge carries a 5lb penalty for his victory here on Wednesday but the assessor has hit him with a 9lb rise so he's well handicapped. He may find this on the short side but hasn't had too much racing and can probably improve again. Any further rain would help the chances of Vasoni, a winner on heavy ground at Sligo in May.
