    Verdict

Mars Harper ran very well behind the impressive Sharjah on Tuesday though this may come a bit too soon. Winning bumper Sir Argus landed a Cork maiden hurdle in April before an excellent run in a Grade B handicap at the Punchestown Festival and looks a smart chasing prospect. Pearl Of The West has been placed in all three starts over fences but meets stronger rivals including JOYEUX MACHIN. He gave Jungle Prose 9lb when beating him five lengths over timber at Wexford and was in the process of running a big race on his chasing debut there when overjumping at the last and losing his chance. Another Choice was engaged in the 8.20 last night.
