Verdict

Chamonix won this on heavy ground for Ballydoyle last year but has only had one run this season, when tailed off behind St Nicholas Abbey in the Coronation Cup, and Joseph has opted for EYE OF THE STORM, another with just one run this year. The son of Galileo couldn't quite hold the late surge of Sugar Boy in Sandown's Classic Trial in April and plenty of big-race entries suggest he'll be ready for this. The once-raced Exotic also represents the stable and she made a very good impression when taking a Galway maiden so could be anything. We'll Go Walking has been found wanting since her debut success and has probably been waiting for the ground to ease, a remark that also applies to the penalised Inis Meain.
