Verdict

Winning bumper Poet Power jumped poorly on her hurdling debut at Listowel and may need more time but Gagas Horse showed improved form on his second start over timber on this track and further progress should see him in contention. POLI ROI won a point-to-point and a bumper before taking on the top-class Fayonagh in the championship bumper at Punchestown where he wasn't disgraced. He's taken to make a successful start over timber though this is a tough maiden with both Trainwreck, a winner between the flags, and The Rory Story, who appeared to find 2m4f stretching his stamina in his two hurdles runs, looking likely future winners.
