DORKAS (NAP) went up 7lb for her victory over 3m at Sligo but would have completed a double but for falling at the last at Tramore a few days later. She's in such good heart that she can make amends despite this being over much shorter. Bellgrove was only beaten a neck at Tramore and was strongly fancied to go one better at Wexford but didn't run up to scratch and a strike-rate of 1-25 over fences doesn't inspire confidence. Rebel Turn is still a maiden over fences but ran his best race to date at Tramore though that was over 2m6f so this looks on the short side. Fenlon's Hill is still a maiden after 16 career starts and refused to race on his penultimate outing but Rufino puts in the occasional good run, though is still 7lb higher than his only victory over fences.
