Verdict

Winter Escape is 2lb lower than his last winning mark and has a 7lb claimer on board though his connections are also represented by TESSERACT (NAP). Seven-times a career winner, he looked back to something like form when just failing to concede 9lb to She Tops The Lot at Tipperary and can go one better. The Dabbler has had to overcome mistakes to complete a recent double and a better round of jumping should see him make a bold bid to defy a 3lb rise. Theatre World would probably have won at Listowel but for unseating at the last and is an obvious threat.
