In depth

Verdict

Prima Vista, successful in a Down Royal bumper on his racecourse debut, has already been placed in maiden hurdles at Punchestown and Naas and Noel Meade's stable is beginning to fire in the winners. He should win races this winter but is up against a potentially smart prospect in BUCK BARROW. The form of the latter's defeat of Flat Out in a bumper at Cork in July last year is out of the top drawer and Charlie Swan looks to have found a nice opportunity for the gelding to open his account over timber. Stablemate Jewel In The Sun needs to improve on what he's shown so far over hurdles, though there may be possibilities about point-to-point winner Saved By John when he tackles a longer trip.
