Verdict

DRUMLEE and Hash Brown are both owned by J P McManus and Barry Geraghty has chosen the latter, which is a surprise as he was a long way behind the former at Sligo last time despite starting favourite. Martin Brassil's charge looked the likely winner that day and though not a regular winner can go one better. The veteran Valours Minion is in top form and battled on strongly to beat Aranhill Chief narrowly at Navan. The runner-up had no chance in a Grade 3 next time and can gain his revenge here. Kylecrue, a winner over 2m4f at Listowel last month, didn't quite last home over three miles on a return visit and this should be more to his liking so he looks a big threat.
