Verdict

This is invariably won by a well-backed runner and NATAL, who beat Tasman to land the event a year ago, will be fancied to complete the double. The former Paul Nicholls' favourite has been plying his trade at the very highest level for many years now and looks to have been laid out for this by James Lambe and the ground will be in his favour. Invisible Man was having his first start for Ian Williams when storming to victory at Market Rasen and with his age allowance he can pose a threat despite this rise in class. Barna Bay isn't the most consistent of performers and had only three opponents when scoring here a year ago but he has a touch of quality when on song and must not be overlooked. Classic Frontier has been running very well and was still in front when falling at the last at Kilbeggan last time when Decoy Daddy eventually finished runner-up. Ninetytwo Team was having only his second start over fences when slamming Kanad by 15l at Fontwell and could be anything.
