Verdict

Aidan O'Brien and Dermot Weld have won the last six of these between them. Weld is represented by the newcomer Big Break, a full sister to the stable's tremendous servant Famous Name. She'll obviously attract interest as will Jim Bolger's Montjeu filly Diamond Sky, a sister to a couple of winners, one of them in Listed grade. The Ballydoyle team are represented by MAGICAL DREAM and she's entitled to the vote after an eye-catching debut at Naas where she was the outsider of three from her yard but beat the other pair comfortably. A tardy start put paid to her chances over that 6f but the daughter of Galileo stayed on strongly and the extra furlong is a bonus.
