    In depth

    Formwatch

Tomasino Generally progressive type who handles all ground; ran career best latest when close second in Royal Ascot handicap over this trip (now 6lb higher); will need to improve again to defy topweight.

Regatta Point (IRE) Useful staying juvenile (winning twice) but has found life tough this year and has something to find with Tomasino on Royal Ascot form.

Persian Pride (IRE) Easy winner of soft-ground maiden at Haydock earlier this month on belated return; open to improvement but will find this tough off stiffish mark.

Hasty Prince Comfortable Doncaster maiden winner in June (The Glen now 2lb better for one length beating) but flopped on handicap bow at HQ (now 6lb lower) and has plenty to prove.

Ovambo (IRE) Lightly-raced and is progressing well of late (won last twice and particualrly impressive in Salisbury handicap latest); has risen sharply in weights (up 10lb for latest success) but open to more improvement and should give each way backers a run for their money here.

The Glen Well regarded colt who finished three lengths fifth behind Dr Greenfield in Chester's Dee Stakes; has struggled to lose maiden in ordinary company since and faces no easy task off this mark.

Fly With Me Given enterprising ride to land Windsor handicap latest and now appears up against it with an 11lb hike.

Elsaamri (USA) Lightly-raced and slow maturing type; progressing along right lines to win a maiden and classified contest latest (front two well clear); acts on fast and capable of further improvement; one to note.

Sing For Fame (USA) Closely matched with Elsaamri (1lb better off for head) on Bath form having only second start (easy Lingfield maiden winner previously); capable of better but this is a tough race for one so inexperienced.

Nation (USA) Has shown little on three previous attempts but steps up in trip and races off potentially lenient mark for handicap bow; capable of better than he has shown to date and hails from top yard.

Halcyon Daze Improved for step up in trip to land Yarmouth maiden latest; has plenty to prove under 4lb penalty on handicap debut.

Reviewer (IRE) Bath maiden handicap winner latest but hard to fancy from 6lb out of weights here.
