The nature of this contest is amply demonstrated by 4lb covering the whole field on official ratings but MOUNTAIN RANGE looks a typical John Dunlop type who will continue to improve with time, experience and distance. Sacred Shield appears dangerous as she looks likely to come on again after the three runs, most recently when caught late on at Salisbury in a messy contest. She will probably set out to make all. Gold Mine looks interesting in that he's the least exposed of the octet after landing an ordinary Chepstow maiden but his yard is in cracking form and he should be included in calculations.
