Verdict

A fair renewal and Sharp Nephew is taken to account for Legal Eagle and Strike The Deal. Sharp Nephew holds entries in all the big two year old races this term so it was a surprise that Brian Meehan's charge was allowed to drift out ot 9/1 on debut. The form of that race looks solid and he can go on to better things quickly. Legal Eagle had to be withdrawn before his recent engagement as he refused to enter the stalls. He has ability but that kink in his temperament does him few favours. Strike The Deal had no answers to Winker Watson but has kept counsel with some of the better juveniles this term. He cannot be discounted in an open affair. Exhibition followed up a fair effort behind Rio De La Plata with a workmanlike effort at Nottingham. More is required here. Fat Boy won a tactical affair at Newmarket and is unlikely to experience a similar race here. Cee Bagara is much better than that and will be suited by the likelihood of a stronger gallop. One Great Cat is watched in the market given the form of the Coolmore outfit. Sharp Nephew caught the eye of many on debut and can land this race for Brian Meehan.
