The previous winners Tuanku and Ghetto may fight out the finish in the tricky nursery and we will side with the first named, Bailey and Goodwood Starlight also enter the argument. The selection looks the pick of the two Mick Channon runners having landed a double when taking a class three handicap at Newcastle. He stayed on well to lead close home having found trouble in running and there should be plenty more to come. Ghetto was still very green when winning a soft ground maiden at Newmarket last time out and is another open to plenty of improvement. Meanwhile Bailey has performed with credit in maidens and a recent nursery so has to be respected. Goodwood Starlight was a rare juvenile debutante winner from the Dunlop yard and the handicapper will have found it hard to assess this son of Mtoto. The other Channon representative Marning Star is worth a look in the betting, but on this occasion we will side with his stablemate and give Tuanku the narrow verdict.
