Verdict

Son Of Africa ran well over 6f here in the Stewards’ Cup consolation sprint in August but hasn’t raced since. Bahamian Sunrise has obvious claims in this company as he beat Shamshon a neck when scoring at Epsom recently with Harry Hurricane back in fifth and Aleef and Pettochside well beaten. The first two should be thereabouts once again while Green Door is finally back on a winning mark having failed to win last year. Stablemate LEO MINOR has yet to win in five starts for Bob Cowell since leaving Ballydoyle. But he has slipped 13lb down the weights in that period and gets a speculative vote to bounce back in this.
