Verdict

VOLPONE JELOIS has shown himself to be suited by fast going since his return to the Flat. Paul Nicholls’ grey can follow up his win at Chepstow under regular pilot Megan Nicholls. Panko was third in a better race than this at Chester on his first run for Alex Hales so rates a danger. Togetherness isn’t badly treated returning to the level while Miss M was fourth at Sandown on her reappearance. See Of Rome won a Salisbury maiden last year but today’s surface will probably be too quick for the top weight.
