Verdict

Rocket Ship was no match for the odds-on Min Alemarat at Haydock but should do better now handicapping. You can never write off a Mark Johnston runner in a race like this and Maxie T has done well this year while Placidia got off the mark at Lingfield last month. Arantes ran well over this trip at Chester while Oasis Fantasy was only beaten half-a-length at Brighton but there are races to be won with ARTFUL ROGUE. He went close last time at Bath and gives the impression he'll improve again over this longer distance. Taws won over 1m6f at Nottingham but has a penalty to carry now on much faster going.
