Evangelist beat Plutocracy and Quest For More at Bath last time with Chesterfield well behind. He has solid claims having been raised only 4lb but Plutocracy wasn't beaten far and had earlier accounted for subsequent winner Lady Pimpernel. Thomas Hobson, Glorious Protector and Empress Adelaide are all worthy of consideration in an open affair but the tentative vote goes to SQUIRE OSBALDESTON. The latter returned from a lay-off an improved horse judged on an easy maiden win at Lingfield and today's longer trip will suit.
