      Verdict

Black Caesar makes a quick reappearance after a narrow defeat at Brighton on Tuesday and is 2lb lower while QUITE A STORY is back on the same mark as when successful here in August. The latter gets the nod as Captain Ryan was caught right on the line over an extended 5f at Bath and has never won over this trip and Danecase was also caught in the dying strides at Salisbury, though that was over 7f which looks his trip. Pour La Victoire won this last year and followed up at Brighton so shouldn't be dismissed despite moderate recent form.
