Verdict

Three-year-olds have a good record in this and KODI BEAR will start a short price having romped home in a Group 3 at Salisbury last time. He finished well ahead of the struggling Captain Cat on that occasion and the latter was also beaten by Cable Bay at Haydock before that. Charles Hills' charge had subsequent Hungerford Stakes runner-up Breton Rock behind at Haydock and should go well while Gabrial is better than his latest run suggests and can figure with a repeat of his earlier third in the Sussex Stakes here behind Solow. Fire Ship looks up against it in this company.
