Verdict

2012 Imperial Cup winner, Paintball, seems to have lost his way over timber and is best watched back on the level, whilst All Annalena was tailed off on her first run back on the Flat for some time and is another to watch on this occasion. In contrast, STOCK HILL FAIR made a really pleasing reappearance when a close third at Nottingham over 1m6f this month, enjoys a good wins-to-runs ratio and remains lightly-raced for a five-year-old. Kieren Fallon can steer him home here, with bottomweighted dual-purpose sort Luggers Hall rated the main threat with Tom Queally a good booking. Achalas and Paloma's Prince cannot be ruled out either.
