Verdict

Lonrach is the only filly in the line-up and produced a very promising debut effort behind the odds-on Raphael Santi over the C&D earlier this month. She had Blue White Fire just over a length behind but the latter looked more in need of the experience and could reverse the form. The winner is trained by Aidan O'Brien, who was also responsible for Power, a very impressive winner at the Curragh when stablemate SECRETARY OF STATE finished a commendable fourth. The latter looks a nice prospect and can get off the mark here though there are one or two newcomers who could be anything including Jimtown, a half-brother to the useful Imperial Dancer and other decent winners.
