Verdict

SKELLIG ROCKS showed nothing in maiden company but made a very encouraging debut over timber when runner-up to Angus Milan at Down Royal in December. The winner has scored again from 8lb higher so Arthur Moore's charge looks well handicapped and should make further progress. Page Turner is another who is ahead of the assessor over hurdles and will be difficult to beat. He was rated 21lb lower than over fences when successful over 2m1f here last month and though raised 6lb he's still leniently handicapped. The veteran Followmeuptocarlow is another who has reverted to hurdles on a much lower rating and though not quite able to take advantage at Thurles it was still a fair effort and he should be thereabouts. Rebel Turn was beaten a long way in that latter event but that wasn't his form and he's better judged on his earlier victories at Tramore and Limerick where he looked progressive. Rue Hill overcame a long absence to land a Limerick handicap in December 2014 where he was well supported so he's one to watch in the market.
