Verdict

Followmeuptocarlow has been running well over fences and can revert to hurdling on a 15lb lower mark so he has to be on the short-list. Horendus Hulabaloo couldn't quite get to Golden Plan at Thurles and has been raised 3lb but any further rain would aid his cause while Rathpatrick makes his handicap debut after beating a big field of maidens at Navan, though this is much tougher. Viaduct Joey has been going well on the Flat but, in a tight-looking handicap, it's SHUILAMACH who is handed the vote. She went up 7lb for scoring at Cork and couldn't quite cope over an extra two furlongs at Thurles, though it looked more like the longer trip was responsible rather than the extra weight. Balkinstown has some decent form over shorter and, if staying the trip, should go well with his light weight.
