Verdict

Livia Galilei arrives in fine shape having scored comfortably over the trip at Sligo a week ago. A 5lb rise isn't excessive but she's not the biggest of fillies and the weight could prove a problem. SHELFORD looked a middle-distance performer with real potential when landing a Leopardstown maiden a month ago. He was sent over 1m6f there a couple of weeks later but the best use wasn't made of his stamina and he was outpaced by I Have A Dream. He can recoup losses sustained that day though none of the sextet can be ruled out. Amira's Prince was just touched off by Chicago over 1m5f at Down Royal and it will be interesting to see how Cheval Rouge copes with this trip on his 33rd start. Scots Gaelic stays much further so will need a very strong pace while it was very fast ground when All That Rules scored at Wexford.
