Smoking Gun completed a double in December but disappointed on his hat-trick bid at Navan and makes his handicap debut. Stable companion West Coast Time has won over the minimum trip around here but does better on ground with plenty of give. Dawn Raider has only won once but has been placed in better company than this and, if ready after a break since October, would have to be considered. KILKEASKINS FIRST, who completed a double in September 2017, was having his first start since when running well for a long way at Navan in November. He still looks reasonably treated and can resume winning ways. Buckie Cullen was having only his second run over timber when landing a Limerick maiden and can only improve while Robin On The Hill looked well suited to this trip and good ground when scoring at Punchestown. Hero's Welcome was well supported at Down Royal in December and, though disappointing, may do better over this longer trip.
