Verdict

With the Pick 6 Pool for Irish Tote punters set to reach €1m, this humble meeting takes on a much greater significance. Aidan O'Brien won this opener with the odds-on Together Forever in 2014 and Bound will attract support despite her last place in a Group 3 at the Curragh as her previous narrow defeat by Mujaazy there reads well. The stable's Nutcracker Suite didn't get going until too late over 7f at Dundalk and will know much more today though it's WAYSIDE FLOWER who catches the eye. Ger Lyons' filly produced a couple of fair efforts over 6f behind Cuff at Naas in May and, with this trip and ground in her favour, she can start making up for lost time. Lady Derrynane was staying on strongly over 7f at Tipperary so she's another to consider. Jim Bolger's Teofilo filly Feathery looks best of the stable's three runners at this stage while Dermot Weld runs Queen Anne's Lace, who should be ideally suited by the trip.
