In depth

Verdict

Second Glance got off the mark over fences at Cork on Sunday for which he has been raised 6lb but he was beaten fair and square by Knocknagow Leader at Sligo in September and Edward O'Grady's charge should confirm the form despite a subsequent defeat at Down Royal. Just behind in third at Sligo was Mirador Del Conde, who has since beaten PEAK RAIDER a short-head at Galway. The latter was a very close third behind By The Hour at Sligo in September when looking in need of the run and can turn the tables and land this. Gaelic Grounds has battled to narrow victories at Clonmel and Punchestown and looks sure to go well again despite a 7lb rise for his latest success.
