Verdict

AARED attracted some support on his debut but looked in need of the experience which he put to good use when chasing home the exciting O'l Man River at the Curragh. He'll take some beating with normal progress though the winner's yard is represented by the newcomers Hans Holbein and Aloft, the former the mount of Joseph O'Brien. Intransive couldn't quite keep tabs on Vocaliser at Roscommon but that was no disgrace and he looks certain to go well while that winner's yard is represented by the Teofilo colt Morning Mix, whose dam is a half-sister to Dawn Approach. Estrenar was a 40/1 chance for his debut at Tipperary but stayed on very strongly at the finish of that 7f event so the extra furlong here will be very much in his favour.
