Verdict

Dermot Weld attempts to get a maiden win under the belt of AMPLE SUFFICIENCY as the latter makes a belated seasonal debut. He’s rated 98 after a close-up fifth in the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh last year and may well be good enough. Saafarr is making hard work of losing his maiden tag and was placed yet again at the Curragh recently when just behind runner-up Tree of Knowledge. The latter looks a threat but both Nutini and Nuclear Option have something to find on these terms and Divine Quickstep has her first start for Jessica Harrington having failed to figure in a couple of starts at Windsor for Sir Michael Stoute.
