Verdict

Recognise, Bumptious, Blue Hills and Into The Shadows look the principals in this maiden and the vote goes to Recognise. The selection is a Groom Dancer half brother to four winners and he will not need to be anything special to win this on his debut. Bumptious rates the main danger he was a fair third behind Lochbuie last time but he is more exposed than most and for that reason he is opposed. Blue Hills would have a chance on his best form but he was tailed off behind It's Blue Chip last time so can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Into The Shadows was a fair third behind Lyford Lass last time and should appreciate this extra half mile, but for the winner we return to the well bred Recognise.
