Verdict

SOUL SEEKER appreciated the return to the minimum trip when scoring at Pontefract during the week. He looks worth sticking with having slipped down the weights and is less exposed than Ventura Flame. The latter won at Beverley last time and scored off today’s mark over track and trip last year while Mecca's Hot Steps went close at Nottingham when last in action but is still looking for a first win. Pavers Pride drops down a grade and may prove best of the rest.
