Verdict

The consistent Tony Tie is the obvious one for TEAMtalk here. Jim Goldie's charge has run with credit all season and relishes a battle when the chips are down. The gelding should find the ground very much to his liking and should make a bold bid to follow up last year's win in this race from only a 2lb higher mark. Quiet Traveller is also a consistent sort and meets Tony Tie on similar terms to their meeting at Newcastle in June. However, the selection was denied a run at a crucial stage on that occasion and was not given too hard a time once his chance had gone. Cherished Number and Dakota Sioux are also respected as dangers, but have to overcome career highest marks if they are to prevail. Zone hails from a yard in-form and should also not be underestimated despite only having had two previous career outings. The form of his Doncaster victory over Unshakable received a massive boost at Sandown on Saturday and Zone may provide the stiffest test. Beamish Prince also has claims off a feather weight but may be suited by further in time.
