Verdict

Considering the manner of his victory at Beverley, it’s no surprise that Jedd O’Keeffe turns out Only Spoofing again quickly under a penalty as he goes in search of a hat-trick. However, he’ll have a different surface to contend with. Another penalised runner is Jessie Allen, who scored at Redcar last week and won a better race at Ayr only two days ago but now has 12lb extra. MININGGOLD could be competitive eased in grade as she should be coming to hand but Piazon will probably find at least one too good again. Someone Exciting has her ground but usually races over much further.
