Verdict

Berlios is 0-11 on Turf and has won just once on the all-weather but he’s been knocking on the door recently and the booking of Serena Brotherton must be viewed as a positive. Joanna Mason is also an accomplished amateur and MITCHUM’s latest win at Catterick was franked when second Fyrecracker went one better at Musselburgh on Saturday’s Well drawn, Ron Barr’s sprinter can defy a 4lb rise in the weights. Vallarta wasn’t beaten far when favourite last time and is looking very well treated nowadays but Jessie Allan came unstuck here last week. Gaelic Wizard likes races of this type and Dodgy Bob showed a bit more at Chepstow and is worth a market check being another who is nicely handicapped on his best form.
