Verdict

A nice prize has attracted a competitive field headed at the weights by On A Session, who is up 6lb for a comfortable victory over 7f at Musselburgh. Young Fire makes a quick reappearance with a 4lb penalty for a narrow victory at Newcastle on Tuesday but Mark Winn's claim more than cancels out the extra. Danny Tudhope, who rode him that day, is on board the stable's ultra-consistent PISANELLO, beaten less than a length in last weekend's Thirsk Hunt Cup and taken to go one better. Shaladar is another consistent performer though at a slightly lower level while Mostawaa has dropped to a winnable mark and Billy Loughnane's claim is a massive plus.
