Verdict

It was soft ground when WOODSIDE WONDER finished second over track and trip last time but he had also gone close on fast going at Musselburgh before that and an apprentice’s 3lb allowance could see him off the mark today. Packington Lane was placed at Chester last month without threatening while Global Goddess will be more at home in this after aiming high in the Queen Mary at Ascot last time. Rum Lad is out of a winning sprinter and won’t have to be anything special to get involved on his debut.
