In depth

Verdict

Marshallspark, Premier Prospect and Blackheath are three against the field in a wide open handicap and the tentative vote is given to Marshallspark. The selection won with plenty in hand when beating Indian Spark last time out and although he has a penalty for that win it often pays to follow sprinters in form and he is taken to win again under similar conditions. Premier Prospect rates the main danger on his best form now that he is dropping in grade, but he was very disappointing off this mark for no apparent reason last time and for that reason he is opposed. Blackheath was a fair third behind Undeterred last time and is another that could go well but he has been done no favours by the draw and for that reason he is opposed. Piccleyes is from a yard in form and looks sure to have the race run to suit and he has definite place claims. Of the remainder, Time N Time Again is on a very lenient mark and he could run well at a price but he is far from consistent and can not be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to Marshallspark.
