Verdict

A deluge of rain would suit AQUARIAN DANCER and with the rain forecast she gets the vote to break her maiden tag; the shortlist is made up of King Of Legend and Mystical Ayr. Jedd O'Keefe has his horses in good form, but so far this filly is yet to fire in 13 starts. However her fourth to Buddy Holly at Nottingham last year off a mark of 54 suggests that she does have some ability and should be able to take advantage off this mark of 42 despite her pilot having her first ride in public. Bold Indian is a course winner but both of his successes have come on quick ground and it appears unlikely that we will have those conditions this evening. Mystical Ayr loves soft ground and has won over this trip; he is an obvious player off a mark of 50 however all three of his wins have come at Ayr. Any market move for Louisa after a 698 day absence would have to be taken seriously with the yard in good form, whilst King Of Legend has been holding his form well and he was a winner off nearly this mark back in January so cannot be dismissed off a 1lb higher perch today with Ian Brennan riding once again. Phantom Serenade has four lengths to find with King Of Legend on their Ayr run, however Michael Dods' unexposed gelding is 11lb better off at the weights today and that must see him go close. A tricky start for punters, and it may pay to take a chance on Aquarian Dancer if the ground comes up soft.
