        QUOTELINE DIRECT shrugged off a penalty for an earlier success at Pontefract and won an apprentices’ race easily back at the same track last time. He escapes a penalty today and the hat-trick beckons in his current form. Chikoko Trail carries 6lb extra having also won at Pontefract recently while Scrutiny scored at Wolverhampton before placing at Sandown. Take A Turn remains 7lb higher than when last successful and Here In The Dark should sharper for a recent comeback.
