In depth

Verdict

Carlovian and Josiebond are both recent winners so warrant respect. Guardia Svizzera can’t get much lower in the weights but may be more interesting when returning to the all-weather. HARRY’S RIDGE is 0-11 and has been a beaten favourite in his last three runs but connections appear to have finally found his best trip, though he has limited experience of these conditions. Lucky Beggar is still effective at this level and Bevsboy found only one too good last time at Catterick.
