In depth

Verdict

Society Music was not exactly winning out of turn when gaining a deserved success at Thirsk earlier this month but this looks tougher having been raised another 2lbs and a better bet may be Mystical Ayr, who gets the vote over Hawkit. The last mentioned has been running consistently well of late but may just be a shade high in the weights now so looks best watched. Just Lille should appreciate the return to this sort of trip having failed to stay slightly further last time and makes more appeal than Richard Fahey's Dark Charm who was beaten in a seller last time. Best Of The Lot looks the better of the two Fahey runners in the race and he has to be considered but may be better over further. The vote then goes to Linda Perratt's consistent mare Mystical Ayr, who deserves to win a race of this nature.
