In depth

Verdict

SPAVENTO has looked in the handicapper's grip since the summer of 2013 but ran much better last time from a mark of 69 when runner-up to True Pleasure over the Ayr mile. She runs here off an unchanged mark and can be competitive once more now she's been afforded a chance by the assessor. Natures Law and Neuf Des Coeurs both won last autumn and the Dalgleish team look to be on the verge of striking some real form. The former is preferred of the pair on this occasion. Dansili Dutch has to be respected after a couple of solid handicap efforts this month and should make the frame whilst Nothing Special has progressed in the last two starts and looks an improver after just four outings.
