Verdict

This is another competitive handicap to round off the card and we will side with Wainwright to get the better of Sling Back, Weakest Link and Loughlorien. The selection put up a cracking effort last time over today's course and distance when third behind Flying Edge. He had only narrowly been beaten on his previous run on this track and from a good draw he looks to have a leading chance today. Sling Back won well at The Curragh last time when beating Charismatic Cat. The booking of Jamie Spencer is an eyecatcher, but she does have a penalty for her recent success and that may just find her out. Weakest Link ran his best race for some time over 5f at Redcar last time when narrowly behind Howards Princess. However, he does look exposed and his best hope here may be of claiming some place money. Loughlorien ran well when third behind Noble Mount at Beverley last time, but although he has won over this trip, his best form is over the minimum trip and we will take him on today. Aberlard is from a top yard and is another worthy of respect on his best form, but for the winner we will return to Wainwright.
