Verdict

Plenty with claims including last year’s winner Logi off his current mark while Epeius is raised 4lb for winning at Newcastle having gone close at Redcar earlier. Swanton Blue will be sharper for a recent comeback run at Chepstow while Music Society and Chookie Dunedin have slid down the weights and will be winning before long. But GLOBAL SPIRIT finished in front of the latter when going close over track and trip on his reappearance and first start for Roger Fell and can finally open his account in this.
