In depth

Verdict

Anna Pavlova, Little Miss Gracie and Squaw Dance are three against the field in this tight conditions event and the tentative vote is given to Anna Pavlova. The selection has been in fair form of late and was a fair sixth behind Princess Nada last time out, this looks easier and off a light weight and under conditions that suit she looks the one to be on. Miss Gracie rates the main danger on her latest fourth behind Pout but all her bets form of late has come on a softer surface and she looks opposable on that basis. Squaw Dance is another that could go well on her latest fourth behind Polar Ben especially as she is sure to have come on for the run. Of the remainder Imperialistic is in the form of her life but this looks her toughest assignment to date and with this in mind for the winner we return to Anna Pavlova.
