Verdict

None of these made the frame last time and winner-finding looks hard. Aleksandar has the strongest claims on the best of his form last term for Luca Cumani but ran extremely badly on debut for his new yard. A watching brief is advised. It'll be interesting to see if David O'Meara can work the oracle with the ex-Gosden inmate, Morocco, who wouldn't have to improve much to figure strongly. The choice is YEOMANOFTHEGUARD however, winner of a Doncaster amateur riders' handicap in March. He is far from being the most reliable according to the formbook but is more than capable of producing the required level here if on a going day. A recent close-up Newcastle fourth also bodes well for his chances.
