In depth

Verdict

In an interesting finale, the vote goes to Ellerslie George ahead of Harbour Breeze and Old Benny. Sue Smith's Aldea could not be fancied based on his two runs so far. Classic Harry has shown promise in a couple of runs, while Darazari Bay and Ellerslie Jackie are potentially-interesting newcomers. Punchestown bumper runner-up, Harbour Breeze, is of obvious interest, Ellerslie George's debut third at Huntingdon earns him respect, while Old Benny has scope for this game and, although his Wetherby run last time is a little hard to assess, he looks the type to go well today. Shardam's half-brother, Perky Peaks, is one to have a look at in the betting, and Young Smokey is entitled to improve on his debut effort. Henry Daly's Opare earns a mention, although he was cheaply acquired, and Sea Cadet showed promise on his debut behind Alfie Flits. Once again, though, the vote goes to Ellerslie George.
